Exciting News at House of Harvest!

Good morning friends! Happy Memorial Day to all of you, and a huge thank you to those who have served our country, whether it was you who served, or you who had a loved one serving, we so appreciate the sacrifice given for us to live freely. I hope everyone will take a moment today to celebrate Memorial Day’s true meaning and thank a veteran.

I have some exciting news to share with you all! Many of you have asked how you can purchase House of Harvest items. Well, I have so enjoyed bringing you items through my Etsy shop and will continue to do so! But I have a few other ways I wanted to let you know about, all of which just seemed to take place in the most exciting whirlwind of amazing-ness I could ever imagine!

Recently, as I was checking my inbox I came across an email from One Kings Lane, to me, personally! It turns out they love what I am doing here at House of Harvest! Who would have thought??? Not me, that’s for sure! I am just me, posting pictures and stories about things I love and sharing it with you guys, the best audience, who have been so supportive and encouraging! If you would have asked me if I ever thought I would have so many facebook friends, so much positive feedback and sales through my Etsy shop, and getting hand-picked to sell on One King’s Lane I probably would have laughed out loud. But guess what guys, you have helped make this dream a reality!

Let me tell you more. One King’s Lane is a private website of curated home décor items at discount prices, and they have a new section called Vintage+Market Finds. In order to see the beauty they offer (and boy do they offer) simply sign in with your email . You guys will want to be part of this! I will submit my items and when my items get accepted, they will be listed in my One King’s Lane storefront for five days, so stay tuned in to make sure you don’t miss out. This will be totally new for me and I hope you guys will check it out and follow along both here and on One King’s Lane. There are so many talented designers, celebrities, and antique dealers that I look up to on One Kings Lane, you will be thrilled with all the inspiration and eye candy!! Ok, sorry, I still have moments of disbelief, lots of them. I am so honored and thankful to be considered one in the group of these heavy-hitters! I just had my first item featured this morning and I was so excited to share it with you all, but it already sold! It was an amazing set of 12 Shakespeare books from 1856. I am busy as a buzzing bee continuing to bring you guys more treasures!

Here is another dream come true moment!! I also recently found out that I will also be taking part in the fabulous and magnificent Barn House Summer Vintage & Antique Marketplace in Battle Ground, WA on July 28^t^h! This is one show you will not want to miss! Even Food & Wine Magazine says so!! People come from all over the world to take in the splendor of this wonderful show, with 30+ amazing dealers offering their best treasures, and I will be one of them!! You cannot really describe what it feels like to be at Barn House…it is far from your typical flea market, with live music, great food, the friendliest atmosphere, and really guys, the people here are so gifted. You will be blown over by the inspiration you will find…every little vendor’s vignette feels like a place you just want to call home! The attention to detail, and the impeccable taste makes for an experience unlike any other. This show is for one day, July 28^th from 9 am until 4 pm, so bring your plane, train, or automobile (+trailer) and get ready to find some of the most delicious rusty, crusty, interesting, and beautiful treasures for your home and garden. I can’t wait and I hope you guys will come and take part in my first Barn House appearance ever!

Without you, maybe Barn House never would have considered little ol’ me, or maybe One King’s Lane never would have seen that there are so many of “us” out there loving these old, rusty relics.
