Junk in the Trunk: Seltzer Bottle

Hi everyone, I missed you! We went on a little vacay last week to the beautiful San Juan Islands, so it feels good to get back and chat with you! I will have more to come on that in a later post! Whilst sightseeing you better believe that we also had our eyes peeled for any treasures we could find, AS USUAL! Much to my delight and the delight of my husband, we’ve found that the job of a treasure hunter never ceases, and in fact, I think it just gets better as you let the journey take you where it will! I had a true “Woah Moment” when I spotted this huge dark blue/green seltzer bottle! In case you don’t know what a “Woah Moment” is, it’s when you spot something SUPER COOL and the natural picker reflexes in your arm jut out involuntarily, grabbing the desired item. But watch out, get in between a picker and their “Woah item” and you just might lose an eye or get judo chopped in the process!

As you can see, I have a little collection of seltzer bottles going, but this one is definitely the belle of the ball, if you ask me. The towering… amazonian… statuesque bell of the ball. No, that spout does not make your bottom look big, I swear!!!

I LOVE the thick wavy blue glass with its little air bubbles here and there. You could build up some serious forearms with this bad boy…shaken or stirred?

We didn’t realize it until after we bought it, but this piece actually hails from the place of my husband’s culture, Romania! The bottle reads “Apa Gazoasa”, which means Soda Water in Romanian.

Did you guys find anything neat this weekend? Send your “Junk in the Trunk” find to me at Lindsea@houseofharvest.com. You might just see it here one day!
