Those who have been following me for a while will know that this time of year I’m all about growing my veggie plant babies from seed. My veggies are going strong, and this spring I’m also giving flower seeds a go! I’m excited to be growing from my very own harvested seeds from last year—white cosmos that amazed me with their long lasting summer blooms! It’s been a pleasant surprise how easy they are to grow & harvest seed from! Another surprise has been growing nigella from seed. I would definitely recommend these easy keepers if you’re looking to venture into growing your own flowers from seed, you’ll be so glad you did! What flowers are you looking forward to this season? 🌿
Sharing a little spring inspiration with you this Monday in the form of some new goodies I just found—some new flowers & a hand-blown antique vessel that was dug locally. It just amazes me that something so delicate could survive & now I get to admire it! After all those years, I hope I don’t break it 😅 I’ve missed you all lots as I took a little break to unplug, catch me up on what you have been up to! What’s new & exciting in your life?

Antique French Breadboards available in the House of Harvest online shop now! 🔪🍞 We spent the first weekend of spring enjoying two of our favorite things, college basketball and being outside in the garden. I loved smelling the fresh cut grass & trimmed rosemary trees, clipping boxwoods, & visiting all the plants around the property to see what’s sprouting up! The restorative time in the garden was just what we needed to balance out March madness & our crazy basketball brackets. 😅 I’m hoping to see a good matchup between two of my favorite teams—Gonzaga & Duke!
